On December 21st, 2015, Capcom announced that their popular video game franchise, Ace Attorney (known as Gyakuten Saiban in Japan), will be getting its own animated television show. The anime will be released in April of 2016. This is not the first time Capcom has used their intellectual property in other media. Ace Attorney has also been made into a movie, manga, a musical, and an orchestrated concert by the world famous Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
If the anime is as successful as the video game, it will only be a matter of time before the anime is dubbed and released in the U.S. Considering the Ace Attorney franchise has sold more than 5.5 million copies and is the 9th most successful franchise of all time, it would seem reasonable to expect to see it dubbed within a year of the release of the anime.
